Francisco Joined KKDG in the summer of 2018, bringing to the firm diverse international experience. Francisco began his career path as an architect, with degrees in Architectural Design, which fostered his interest in small scale environmental design. During his work in an architecture firm focusing on institutional projects, Francisco developed an interest in the relationships between buildings and their associated outdoor environments. In contrast to interior spaces, he finds the design of outdoor spaces a more complex and rewarding process.
With three generations of construction experience in his lineage, Francisco has a strong appreciation for the real world application of his work. At KKDG, he is honing his technical skills to this effect, using computer aided drafting to assist in developing complex construction plans and detail drawings.
Fluent in three languages and cultures (Spanish, Portuguese, and English), Francisco strives to incorporate his diversified perspectives into his design process. Francisco loves the outdoors, and in his spare time enjoys activities like hiking, snowboarding and surfing.
