Jonathan joined KKDG in the fall of 2023.
Growing up in Southern California, Jonathan was an art kid who regularly wandered through concrete “wild spaces” searching for trails that led to new experiences and expanses of nature. Jonathan’s curiosity led him toward a career path that combined international studies and advocacy. On that path, his most meaningful moments were times when he connected with a sense of place, the people there, and harnessing creative energy to create something new.
During the global pandemic, Jonathan found solace in nature, but also rediscovered the nooks in his backyard - learning to use design to engage with familiar spaces in new ways. These personal discoveries reconnected his past interests and reshaped his professional interests.
Working in landscape architecture, Jonathan hopes to create spaces that invite others to engage meaningfully with nature in their context and hopefully discover an aspect of their own creativity. To that end, he completed his associates of science in landscape architecture and he begins a new path with KKDG.
