The Sweet Shop

Kikuchi + Kankel Design Group worked in a collaborative effort in the creation and design of the Sweet Shop, a unique neighborhood store in Los Altos, CA. This abandoned neighborhood market began its transformation in 2008 when the owners decided to transform the building and site into an attractive commercial venture that would provide a neighborhood meeting place for both young and old, as well as employ local students and provide profit revenue to the local school district.
